The Basin is a new musical project started by singer songwriter Toby Bucsescu. It is both a new beginning and a culmination of years of song writing.

Inspired by adventure, loss, love and a passion for nature. Midnight Sun is The Basin's debut E.P. The songs were written over the course of many years. From the beaches of Florida to the rivers of Tennessee, the mountains of New Hampshire to the streets of NYC, these songs are representations of the treasured spot these places hold in the writers heart.

 

The Basin is hard at work recording their first full length album. Transmissions is set to be released in early 2020 and will feature The Basin's first single Lost Words, as well new tracks written in the past two years. A departure from the roots rock sounds of Midnight Sun, Transmissions is a distinct step into a more modern, alternative sound.
